Deceptively simple
How it works
Five steps stand between you and infinite horse.
- Scroll to stretch. Every 400 pixels you scroll grows the golden legs by exactly one horse length. Scroll wheel, trackpad, touchscreen, spacebar — all valid propulsion.
- Watch the counter. The progress bar up top tracks your horse lengths live, with a bar filling toward the next milestone and your personal best on display.
- The page makes more horse. Near the bottom, new track silently appears. There is always more page. There is always more horse. This is the deal.
- Hit milestones. Signposts at 100, 250, 500, 1,000 and beyond trigger confetti, messages, and optional fanfare (sound on, if you're brave).
- Challenge friends. Copy your challenge link and dare someone to beat your distance. Their screen will show your score as the target.
Controls & accessibility
- ⬆ Back to mane — returns to the top instantly.
- 🔊 Sound toggle — off by default; enables little fanfares on milestones.
- 📤 Share — shares your distance via your device's share sheet, or copies a link.
- Reduced motion — if your system prefers reduced motion, confetti and animation calm down automatically.
- Keyboard — spacebar and arrow keys scroll like everything else. No special keys to learn, because there is nothing to learn.
Does it ever end?
No. This is the entire point and also the entire joke. The page generates new track as you approach the bottom, forever. Milestones continue every 5,000 lengths after 10,000, with grand finales every 10,000. The only finish line is the one you decide — usually when your arm gets tired or someone asks what you're doing.
